In August 2002 I got the silly notion of writing a book stuck in my head. It seemed like a good idea at the time. After all, how hard could it be? It's March 2008 and I've finally finished writing and editing the beast. The only thing that's left of the initial idea from 2002 is two characters - originally minor ones - that somehow became the main characters of the new story. I've written, re-written, edited and re-edited, and what do I have to show for it? About 100 000 words and a handful of friends who have suddenly found themselves doubling as editors/reviewers. Bless them, and may they take their merry time reading the beast, because I don't want to see it for the next couple of months. After all, I've got to have time to start working on the next...
Still no job, by the way, but things are definitely looking up! There's hope that I might yet become a proper adult.
